If you are considering a Cinderella theme wedding idea, then why not a destination wedding at the great Walt Disney World Resorts and Theme Park? They offer quite a few amazing options to create the fairy tale of your dreams.

If you like, you can have your ceremony at Disney’s wedding pavilion or hold your reception on Main Street, right next door to Cinderella’s castle. You can’t get any more authentic than that! If your Cinderella wedding theme idea is more multi-cultural, you can choose to hold your ceremony at any one of 11 countries represented in EPCOT Center’s World Showcase.

There are a great many different settings and options to choose from when you create your Cinderella theme wedding. You choose between an Intimate Wedding Package which allows you to invite 8 guests or a Custom Wedding Package where you pay per guest with a minimum purchase amount. Either way, Disney provides you with your own personal wedding coordinator to help you through the process.

While Disney characters (including Cinderella herself, the fairy Godmother, and the helpful mice) will be wandering the park, they are not available to serve as members of your wedding party. They are available, however, to mix with your guests at your reception, pose for pictures, cut in on the first dance and help cut the cake. There time is purchased in 30 minute increments. This is an option available with the Custom Wedding Package.

Photography and videography services are available, and Disney will assist you in finding an officiate who speaks your native language. A CD version of instrumental Disney love songs is available for purchase and play during the ceremony, reception, and when you return home as husband and wife. Spa services are available for you and your bridesmaids during the days before your weddings – or after, if you prefer. No need to let the fairy tale end at midnight on your wedding day!

Your Fairy Tale Wedding includes a great Disney honeymoon and a minimum four night stay at one of variety of Disney resorts (not to mention a set of Mickey groom ears for him and Minnie bride ears for her to wear around the park so everyone will know that you’re newlyweds!). Ask your personal wedding planner to assist you with dinner reservations at one of many classy restaurants, a chocolate covered strawberries and champagne private boat viewing of the fireworks show, and special wedding bouquet waiting for you in your room.

You can plan your Intimate wedding anywhere from 21 days to a year in advance. Custom Weddings need at least 30 days advance notice up to a year. For reservations, confirmation comes when your wedding day is no further than 8 months away.

Intimate weddings start at $3500 and Custom weddings start at either $7500 for weekday celebrations or $10,000 for weekend ceremonies. It may cost more during the holiday season and there is a room night and food and beverage minimum.
